This is the trailer for I’ll Be Watching, which I made in Fall 2024. Originally produced as an assignment, it also provided an opportunity to showcase the film to other students. It was met with favorable reviews, and I made further adjustments in the post-production phase based on that feedback.
Production Book
I’ll Be Watching is a short film created in late 2024 in collaboration with three other senior CLU Students. This short film, as my capstone project, is a reflection of my highest level of experience as a film student. As Assistant Director, I managed my crew-mates on and off the set, as well as scheduling shooting days and floor plans. Other responsibilities include video and sound editing, color correction, and lighting.

Synopsis: Michael, an uptight college student, returns to his dorm with his two friends, Jake and Sam. The two of them have made a frequent habit of rewatching their favorite show, I’ll Be Watching, much to Michael’s annoyance. Sam reveals that she found a lost episode of the show, made before the series was cancelled, which she gives to Jake as a gift. That night, Jake excitedly watches the episode alone. The following day, Jake barges into Michael’s office with a complete personality flip. Michael, confused and frightened, tries to bring Jake back to his senses, and calls Sam for help. Will Michael be able to reach Sam in time, or will his friends all become enthralled by the sitcom?
